埃塞克斯大学入学指南

　　随着入学日期的临近，秋季准备赴英的同学陆续做着行前准备工作。埃塞克斯大学(University of Essex)将行前常见问题以及重要信息为同学总结如下，提醒学生千万不要忽略这些关键事项。

　　1)住宿申请截止日期：

　　研究生住宿：2014.7.31

　　本科生住宿：2014.8.22

　　最晚出CAS时间：2014.9.19

　　2) 所有关于本科申请补录(申请咨询)相关疑问，需要通过在线Clearing Enquiry form提交。除非学生拿到所有结果，包括满足要求的语言成绩，否则学校不予考虑学生通过clearing的申请。

　　Accommodation bookings

　　Accommodation for undergraduate and postgraduate courses can be booked through the student’s personal myEssex account once the student’s place at Essex has been confirmed. The deadlines for

accommodation applications are 31 July for postgraduate students and 22 August for undergraduate students. Accommodation may be available after these dates but it is no longer guaranteed.

　　Airport pickup by university arranged coaches will be available on Sunday 28 September to Colchester and Southend campuses.

　　Please make your students aware of the following options:

　　International Foundation Programme – available for most courses, IELTS requirement 5.0 overall

　　International Diplomas in Business and Economics – an intensive pathway leading to year 2 entry to relevant Bachelors courses, IELTS requirement 5.5 with 5.0 in writing.

　　Year 0 of a four year degree – pathway course taken as part of a degree course.

　　The last date our admissions offices are able to issue new CAS statements for October entry is 19 September. After this date requests can be considered on a case-by-case basis, please contact overseas for any queries after this date.
