  1. Tell me about yourself.

  2. As early as you can in the interview, ask for a more complete description of what the position entails. You might say: “I have a number of accomplishments I&aposd like to tell you about, but I want to make best use of our time together and talk directly to your needs.   Then, ALWAYS follow-up with a second and possibly, third question, to draw out his needs even more. Surprisingly, it&aposs usually this second or third question that unearths what the interviewer is most looking for.

  You might ask simply, "And in addition to that?..." or, "Is there anything else you see as essential to success in this position?

  This process will not feel easy or natural at first, because it is easier simply to answer questions, but only if you uncover the employer&aposs wants and needs will your answers make the most sense. Practice asking these key questions bore giving your answers, the process will feel more natural and you will be light years ahead of the other job candidates you&aposre competing with.!   After uncovering what the employer is looking for, describe why the needs of this job bear striking parallels to tasks you&aposve succeeded at bore. Be sure to illustrate with specific examples of your responsibilities and especially your achievements, all of which are geared to present yourself as a perfect match for the needs he has just described.

  4. What is your long-range objective?

  The key is to focus on your achievable objectives and what you are doing to reach those objectives.

  Then go on to show by your examples what you are doing to reach your goals and objectives.

  Although it&aposs certainly difficult to predict things far into the future, I know what direction I want to develop toward. Within five years, I would like to become the very best develper your company has. I would like to become the expert that others rely upon. And in doing so, I feel I will be fully prepared to take on any greater responsibilities that might be presented in the long term.

  5. Are you a team player? (Describe what would be an ideal working environment?)

  Team work is the key.

  Yes, I’m very much a team player. In fact, I’ve had opportunities in my work, school to develop my skills as a team player. For example, on a recent project, I workded with my classmates. We often discussed the issues together, solved the problemes together. I love the way of learning new staff with classmates, because I found I can know more by changing opion with other classmates. That is a really good way to learn new knowledge. And also I love the feeling to work together, happy and easy. I found it is more ficient to finish the project bore deadline and also can do more than what can be done by a single person. . .”

  Emphasize teamwork behavioral examples and focus on your openness to diversity of backgrounds. Talk about the strength of the team above the individual. And note that this question may be used as a lead in to questions around how you handle conflict within a team, so be prepared.
